Aircraft Cleaning and the Future of Aviation

With a predicted 39,000 new aircrafts set to don our skies in the next 20 years, it will be essential that every one of these planes meets the highest maintenance standards.
Here at Speciality Wipes, we are the market leaders in aircraft cleaning, no matter if you need composite wipes for exterior surfaces or interior wipes for areas such as galleys, toilets, cabins and trays we have the product for you!

Air Traffic Set to Increase

Industry giant Airbus has predicted annual growth of 4.3% in air traffic in the next two decades, with 39,210 aircraft needed alongside 8,470 remaining from today – equating to almost 48,000 planes set to be in the air by 2038.
Air traffic has been resilient to economic shocks having more than doubled since 2000 plus it is playing an increasingly key role in connecting large population centres. This is particularly true for emerging markets where the propensity to travel is amongst the world’s highest as cost or geography makes alternatives impossible.

Christian Scherer, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Airbus International said,

“The 4% annual growth reflects the resilient nature of aviation, weathering short term economic shocks and geopolitical disturbances. Economies thrive on air transportation. People and goods want to connect.
“Globally, commercial aviation stimulates GDP growth and supports 65 million livelihoods, demonstrating the immense benefits our business brings to all societies and global trade.”
